David Schmidgall – Kingdom Perspective with Family Vision and Values

Before heading out on a family vacation it makes sense to plan ahead. We map out a route, reserve lodging and estimate the costs. The same planning principles apply when creating a financial budget. We create a forecast and compare it against reality, making adjustments along the way to reach a future target.

A shared family vision and values blueprint can bring similar clarity, only on a much larger scale. It can unite a family in their walk with Jesus, encourage a kingdom perspective in day to day living, establish boundaries to do “less but better”, and cast a vision of the future that serves as a lighthouse shining beyond our present circumstances.

David Schmidgall has been married to his wife, Alison, for 20 years. Together they have 5 children ages 5-18. They write and publish children’s books as part of our homeschool curriculum. They are part of a small church plant in Hancock, MN that launches this fall. David’s work career spans 23 years in the manufacturing industry and is currently serving companies in a consultant role.
