15th Annual Ernie Unruh Christian Service Award Luncheon

In 2008 the first “Christian Service Award” was given to a member of the community. There is a committee of Unity Foundation Board Members and others in the community who choose the person for this award from nominations submitted.
The person receiving the award is someone who has made a positive impact on the community through their leadership and service. Only the committee knows who the recipient is until the day of the award ceremony. Family members of the recipient are invited as well as coworkers and friends to give short testimonies.
In 2011 the award was renamed “Ernie Unruh Christian Service Award” in honor of Ernie Unruh, a charter Unity Foundation board member who went to heaven in July of 2011.
