Lisa is a veteran of the United States Air Force, a trained family mediator by Mitchell-Hamline School of Law, and has over 20 years of change management leadership in government/military, healthcare, church and nonprofit sectors. Her most recent work, The Connected Kids Initiative, included nine organizations developing a collective impact model to address the overwhelmed child welfare system. Lisa has spoken at the United States White House to promote child/maternal welfare through faith communities, and is working to develop a statewide answer to Minnesota’s most complex problem, child welfare. Lisa is currently the MN State Director of Safe Families for Children and Founder of the Connected Kids Initiative.
